Service Engineer Refrigeration

About the role
As a Service Engineer Refrigeration you install, commission, maintain and repair industrial refrigeration and heat pumps at customer sites in Paris, France and beyond. You are the face of GEA on site: you solve problems on the spot, train customer operators and feed back what you learn to the product teams.
What you’ll do
- Install and commission new equipment at customer sites
- Carry out preventive maintenance and fault-finding on industrial refrigeration and heat pumps
- Write clear service reports and keep the service system up to date
- Train operators and support customers by phone and remote connection
- Work closely with sales, product and spare-parts teams
What you bring
- MBO/HBO or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
- 2+ years of hands-on field service or commissioning experience
- Fluent English; Dutch, German or French is a plus
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regional
- VCA / NEN 3140 or equivalent safety certification
